Museumsinformation Coronavirus

The 3-G rule has been in effect in the Hochtaunus district since 23 August. The Hessenpark Open Air Museum is currently only accessible to those who have been fully vaccinated, have recovered or who have a negative test result (result not older than 24 hours). Please provide corresponding evidence in the entrance area. Children under 6 years are exempt from compulsory testing. A medical mask must be worn outdoors if the minimum distance to other people cannot be maintained. This may be the case at our larger events (Farmers Market, Tractor Show, Threshing Days).

Our historical buildings and special exhibitions are open to the public. All over the extensive museum premises many young animals are looking forward to your visit. There is also a large playground with sunshades, a fitness trail, a forest adventure trail, a boundary stone garden and much more to discover.

The same distancing and hygiene rules apply as in the previous months. The minimum distance to other people is 1.5 meters. In the historical buildings, special exhibitions, toilets and wherever the minimum distance cannot be kept, masks are compulsory (surgical or FFP2 masks, children under 6 years are excluded).

The shops on the market square may only be entered with a medical mask. Snacks and drinks are only available to take away. The “Zum Adler” restaurant with beer garden is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The 3-G rule also applies here.
