Schawellsche

The word for stool in the southern Hessian dialect is “Schawellsche” – and you can buy these here, too. But this is just one example of the many items made of wood on sale in the shop, some of which are made in workshops in Oberursel by disabled people.

Expertly crafted wooden and fabric toys, traditional and new games, high-quality decorative articles, practical and useful items for the kitchen, office and other areas are included in the range. One of the typical products made by the Oberursel wood workshops are the wooden trays for apple-wine glasses. During Advent, the range of goods includes a large selection of Christmas decorations.
