The Open Air Museum has everything to provide for your creature comforts: a unique setting for parties as well as sophisticated conference and accommodation facilities. The \u201cZum Adler\u201d inn and the \u201cZum Hessenpark\u201d country hotel with its \u201cAlter Markt\u201d restaurant are all part of the picturesque market square. After a stroll through the Open Air Museum, you can find refreshments in the \u201cMartinsklause\u201d (originally from the village of Remsfeld) opposite the new playground. The \u201cAdler\u201d is a beautiful historical inn serving the regional cuisine of Hessen. The country hotel combines a traditional atmosphere with modern convenience and comfort, and the \u201cMartinsklause\u201d pub offers simple food reminiscent of the 1950s. There are also rooms to hire for parties and events \u2013 with space for 10 to more than 2000 people.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n

In the tavern “Zum Adler,” classic Hessian dishes made from regional ingredients are served. It is the rustic meeting place for hungry museum visitors. In addition to indoor seating, there is a terrace and a cozy beer garden. Children can request their own menu with age-appropriate dishes. <\/span>The tavern and the marketplace area can be visited without an entrance ticket and independently of the museum’s opening hours.<\/span><\/p>\n

Exceptions apply during the plant markets, the tractor meet (Treckertreff), and on the first three Advent weekends. On these dates, the marketplace is only freely accessible for a short shopping visit (maximum 30 minutes). The admission fee must be paid in advance. A refund will be issued if guests return to the ticket office within the specified time frame.<\/p>\n

The Martinsklause, opposite the playground, is a 1950s-style inn. The original tavern from Remsfeld was moved to the open-air museum for this purpose. Enjoy contemporary food and drinks as well as specialties from the 1950s at our snack bar next to the Martinsklause.
