{"id":10780,"date":"2016-07-05T14:41:36","date_gmt":"2016-07-05T12:41:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hessenpark.de\/en\/agb\/"},"modified":"2026-06-11T18:34:52","modified_gmt":"2026-06-11T16:34:52","slug":"gtc","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.hessenpark.de\/en\/gtc\/","title":{"rendered":"General Terms and Conditions"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"container-fluid no-background-color\" id=\"general_terms_and_conditions\">\r\n\t<div class=\"container headline\">\r\n\t\t<div class=\"row\">\r\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-12 text-center\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<h1 class=\"text-blue\">\r\n\t\t\t\tGeneral Terms and Conditions\t\t\t<\/h1>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-fluid no-background-color\" id=\"terms_and_conditions_of_freilichtmuseum_hessenpark_ggmbh_(version_february_2024)\">\r\n\t<div class=\"container headline\">\r\n\t\t<div class=\"row\">\r\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-12 text-left\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"text-black\">\r\n\t\t\t\tTerms and Conditions of Freilichtmuseum Hessenpark gGmbH (version: February 2024)\t\t\t<\/h2>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container-fluid no-background-color\">\r\n\t<div class=\"container simple_content\">\r\n\t\t<div class=\"row\">\r\n\t\t\t<div class=\"col-12\">\r\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\" \">\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>General Terms and Conditions of Freilichtmuseum Hessenpark gGmbH<br \/>\n(as of June 2026) <\/p>\n<p>1.\tScope of Application<br \/>\nThese General Terms and Conditions https:\/\/www.hessenpark.de\/agb apply to all bookings (bookable events, conferences, (vacation)workshops, weddings, classes, guided tours, room reservations, and package deals combining room reservations with additional services) made with Freilichtmuseum Hessenpark gGmbH.<\/p>\n<p>2.\tConclusion of Contract<br \/>\n(1) The contract for the (room) booking or participation in bookable offers is concluded upon binding registration\/booking and written confirmation by the Freilichtmuseum Hessenpark. Registration may be made by telephone or in writing. A confirmation of the booking will be sent to the customer via email.<br \/>\n(2) For events with a minimum number of participants (classes, conferences), the contract is concluded subject to the condition precedent that the minimum number of participants is reached.<\/p>\n<p>3.\tTerms of payment<br \/>\n(1) For bookable events, payment must be made in cash or by card on the day of the visit, before the event begins, at the museum ticket office. Alternatively, payment may be made by bank transfer after an invoice has been issued. The invoice must be paid by bank transfer to the account of Freilichtmuseum Hessenpark gGmbH within 10 days of receipt.<br \/>\n(2) Events with a minimum number of participants (classes and conferences) must be paid for in advance. Payments must be made by bank transfer within 10 days of receiving the invoice to the account of Freilichtmuseum Hessenpark gGmbH. Payment must be received no later than 7 days before the event begins. For bookings made 8\u201310 days or less before the event with a minimum number of participants, payment must be made immediately. If the minimum number of participants is not reached and the course\/workshop\/conference therefore does not take place, any fees already paid will be refunded. <\/p>\n<p>4.\tCancellation Policy<br \/>\n(1) A cancellation (withdrawal from the contract) must be made in writing (email or fax is sufficient) and must be received by the Open-Air Museum.<br \/>\n(2) A bookable event may be canceled free of charge up to eight (8) calendar days before the booking date.<br \/>\n(3) Cancellation of an event with a minimum number of participants (conference, classes,) must be made up to fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the event date.<br \/>\n(4) Cancellation of room\/space bookings with or without additional services (combined offer) is free of charge up to six (6) months prior to the selected booking date.<br \/>\nIf a room\/space reservation is canceled up to three (3) months before the reservation date, the Open-Air Museum will charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the room\/space rental fee.<br \/>\nIf a room\/space reservation is canceled up to one (1) month before the reservation date, the Open-Air Museum will charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the room\/space rental fee.<br \/>\n(5) For cancellations made after the above-mentioned deadlines, the full fee is due.<\/p>\n<p>5.\t Rescheduling\/Changes to Bookings<br \/>\n(1) Rescheduling a bookable event is free of charge up to eight (8) calendar days before the booking date. After this deadline, the full fee must be paid.<br \/>\n(2) Rescheduling an event with a minimum number of participants (conference, classes) must be done up to fourteen (14) calendar days before the event date.<br \/>\n(3) Rescheduling of room\/space bookings with or without additional services (combined offer) is free of charge up to six (6) months before the selected booking date.<br \/>\nStarting with the second change to the offer, a flat-rate processing fee of \u20ac 150 will be charged. This fee will be applied to the booking upon placement of a binding order.<\/p>\n<p>6.\tLate Arrival\/No-Show<br \/>\nIf a participant or group arrives late, the participant or group must expect the event duration to be shortened accordingly. This does not affect Freilichtmuseum Hessenpark gGmbH\u2019s right to the full fee. If a participant or group fails to show up, the full fee for the booking must be paid.<\/p>\n<p>7.\tImpediments to Performance by Freilichtmuseum Hessenpark gGmbH<br \/>\nIf Freilichtmuseum Hessenpark is unable to provide the agreed-upon service, any fees already paid will be refunded. Further claims beyond those provided for in Section 309(7) of the German Civil Code (BGB) are excluded.
