The Hessenpark Open Air Museum endeavours to make its website accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Hessian Disability Equality Act (HessBGG) Section 14(1) and the Hessian Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology (HVBIT) implementing Directive (EU) 2016\/2102.

The website only partially complies with Section 14(1) of the Hessian Disability Equality Act (HessBGG) because of the following exceptions.<\/p>\n

Inaccessible content \/ Non-compliance with HVBIT<\/h2>\n

The following content does not comply with Section 3(1) of HVBIT and is not accessible for the following reasons:
\n\u2022 A simplified language version is not yet available.
\n\u2022 Information is not yet available in German sign language.
\n\u2022 Some of the graphics used on the website (images, user elements, symbols) do not yet have alternative text and image descriptions.
\n\u2022 There are no subtitles or transcriptions for embedded videos.
\n\u2022 Documents such as downloadable PDFs have not all been made accessible.
\n\u2022 Content on the website cannot all be navigated via keyboard shortcuts; the search function can be used as an alternative.
\nBecause complying with these guidelines would constitute an excessive organisational burden for Hessenpark Open Air Museum, which has limited staff and financial resources, not all content is currently completely accessible. At the moment, there are no accessible alternatives for the above content.
