This weekend, the Hessenpark Open Air Museum is all about book printing. Museum visitors can experience the various stages of the craft – from typesetting to printing and binding.
Join our volunteer craftspeople when they demonstrate various techniques on vintage printing presses in the historic printing shop in the house from Melgershausen on the market square. Rebuilt in Hessenpark, the historic Gutenberg press will also be in use. In the house from Ewersbach, children can make handmade paper.
