Historic Forest Hunter Camp 22 / 23 August

This weekend, visitors can experience 18th-century forest and camp life as presented by the Society for Hessian Military and Civil History (Gesellschaft für Hessische Militär- und Zivilgeschichte e.V.). The forest hunters will carry out surveying and forestry work on the museum grounds, demonstrate hunting horn signals, and showcase the tools once used for hunting and forest labor. In addition, guided tours through the museum’s woodland will be offered.
