Farmers’ Market

Today, a farmers’ market is taking place on the marketplace of the Hessenpark Open-Air Museum. In this historical setting, visitors can stock up on all kinds of delicacies from Hessian farms. The diverse selection ranges from sausages, cheese, honey, bread and cakes to game specialities, jams and spices. It is complemented by seasonal fruit and vegetables as well as various organic products.

Admission rules:
Those who come only to shop or to visit the restaurants on the marketplace can simply inform the staff at the ticket office and will receive free entry. Anyone who also wishes to visit the museum facilities on the marketplace and throughout the rest of the museum grounds pays the regular admission fee.
