Launch of Special Exhibition: ‘Hartbeats. Beginning and Farewell’

Whether it is one’s own birth, the birth of a child, the death of a loved one, or one’s own final farewell – beginnings and endings touch us all. The exhibition explores how perspectives, customs, and professions surrounding these life events have changed over time – and what has remained.

Through exhibits such as a midwife’s case or a funeral carriage, visitors are invited to discover the connections between beginnings and farewells. The exhibition “Heartbeats. Beginnings and Farewells” opens today, inviting reflection on the familiar and the unknown, on memories and new perspectives.
