Light and Darkness Day

6. November 2022, 11:00 - 16:00
The dark and cosy season stands at the centre of our family day. Children can turn a hand at turnip carving, bake geese out of salt dough, make lanterns or draw candles. At 3 p.m., a guided tour will provide information on how the Hessian rural population dealt with open fire and the importance of light before and after the advent of electrification. The tour begins behind the entrance building.
