Plant Market

At the beginning of May, the Hessenpark Open-Air Museum once again focuses on the world of plants. Regional and international gardening experts transform the museum grounds into a sea of blooms to mark the start of the summer season. The range of offerings includes everything from unusual flower bulbs and vibrant perennials to colorful summer bedding and balcony plants. Selected handicrafts and elegant garden accessories complete the assortment.

Against the historic backdrop of numerous half-timbered houses, visitors can embark on a journey of discovery through the world of plants and uncover one or two botanical treasures along the way. The plant market is organized in cooperation with the Horticultural Association of Baden-Württemberg-Hessen e.V.

During the plant market, the marketplace is only freely accessible for a short shopping visit (maximum 30 minutes). The admission fee must be paid in advance. A refund will be issued if guests return to the ticket office within the specified time frame.
