Theme Day: Of Letting Go and Holding On

In connection with the special exhibition “Heartbeats. Beginnings and Farewells,” this theme day is dedicated to parting and remembrance. Visitors can look forward to a variety of offerings throughout the open-air museum grounds – from creative hands-on activities to opportunities for conversation and information. The “Farm Life 1910” program in the farmstead surrounding the residential house from Nieder-Gemünden also takes up the theme and shows how death and mourning were handled in earlier times.
