The Rhön Sheep
Historically the Rhön Sheep is the mostimportant sheep breed in Hesse and is among the oldest livestock breeds in Germany. They are centrally located in Hessenpark and along with their Coburg relatives ensure that our many small meadows are neatly grazed. A distinguishing feature of the Rhön Sheep is the black head.
